PROJECT SCOPE: Agnes Water WWTP-Inlet Works

Upgrade of the Agnes Water WWTP Inlet Works was necessary to cater for increased capacity and provide longevity whilst minimizing maintenance and improving safety.

The Project scope involved the demolition of parts of the existing structure to allow for modifications including new slabs, walls, stairs and hand-rails. Also necessary was the removal and replacement of the existing mechanical plant and upgrade of electrical connections along with new water reticulation.

CASA also constructed a new grit chamber and installed a bypass line to facilitate the removal and upgrade of the main sewer line and headwall.

The project duration was extended due to approved extensions of time in regards to survey issues that had a direct impact on our ability to achieve the CMDG Guidelines and Council Requirements.
