The Oro bridges consist of four separate bridges located in the Oro Province of PNG: the Kumusi, Eroro, Girua and Ambogo bridges. CASA was contracted to provide Drafting, Pylon Installation and Steel Erection.
We needed to supply reliable and robust equipment that would be able to handle the harsh remote environment. This included two 100-ton cranes, a 12-ton forklift and boom lifts to complete the erection works.
CASA was responsive to all the challenges faced in this environment, and extended piles to 10.2m in some areas to acquire adequate foundation.
CASA’s construction teams were led by Peter Casa (Founding Director) who provided the experience to safely manage the difficult situations. We also completed the projects within the programmed timelines.
